Daffodils

My Nana loved daffodils. Whenever I see them I think of her. They let us know that Spring has finally arrived after a long and cold winter. They are my Mum's favourite too. My sister and I often joke that she'd better die in the Spring or else we'll be forced to have plastic daffodils at her funeral! How horrid! She wouldn't like that at all.

It was my Nana's birthday yesterday and as I couldn't buy a gift I have filled my house with Daffodils. They look so bright and cheerful.

Here's to pretty summer dresses and long lazy afternoons sitting in the sun with a glass of wine and your friends. How delightful.
